In the ammonia, hydrogen and methanol production, the high temperature gas flowing from the furnaces must be quenched through heat exchangers named process gas boilers. The gas cooling produces medium/ high pressure steam in shell side and then collected in steam drums. Each Alfa Laval Olmi heat exchanger is custom made and we make sure it provides maximum efficiency and a long service life by optimizing it according to our customers’ specific requirements and operating conditions.
